Inside the secret magic world of a abandoned child

Teresa is a girl that is abandoned by her father in the ancient family's house in Calabria, in southern Italy.

She tries to find her place in this new life, but her reality is changed by the echoes of the past.

It was hard for me to condensate my grandmother’s childhood in one short movie. All the sufferings and all the marvellous stories about her life echoed inside me since I was a child, creating a mental and fascinating universe. 

This was my first big work as a director, and it gave me the possibility to test my abilities and to make mistakes, but also to learn about my taste, my way of working in a team and of directing. Teresa is a pure and simple story, coloured by the imagination of a daughter that is becoming a woman before she should. 

The hard work all the team put in the short movie was awarded when Teresa entered the RIFF selection in 2019.
